Liz is a high school counselor in Massachusetts bringing 7 years of experience to her position. She works with students grades 9 through 12 in a variety of settings including college and career counseling, mental health counseling, and academic advising. Finding the best fit for each student’s future is at the heart of everything she does.  She takes pride in assisting all her students in developing the best individual post-graduation plan for them.

Prior to becoming a school counselor, she spent many years working in the mental health field as a youth support worker and case manager since graduating with her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. She has always loved working with adolescents, and working with them in those roles inspired her to become a school counselor. After earning her M.Ed in school counseling from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts, she began working in public education.  She is an NHS sponsor and has been repeatedly named as a Faculty Honoree at her high school‘s annual Academic Excellence Reception.

She lives in central Massachusetts with her husband, young daughter and elderly dog. In addition to being passionate about education and mental health, Elizabeth loves art and enjoys sculpting and painting to decompress in her free time.
